Funeral teas
As a celebration of the life of those recently deceased, Hinton Firs provides a tranquil location for funeral teas, with discrete staff, who are comfortable serving bereaved family and friends.

Our relaxing and friendly atmosphere is one of the reasons that Hinton Firs is such a popular venue for celebrations, and we offer a bespoke service that allows you to tailor a package to suit your requirements. Additional services such as cakes, flowers and balloons can all be arranged to help make your party run smoothly. (We regret we cannot cater for 18th and 21st Birthday celebrations).
Weddings
Hinton Firs is the perfect venue for your wedding reception, specialising in smaller, informal celebrations. Our wedding packages include receptions, wedding breakfasts, buffets and canapés. We can also organise additional services such as red carpet arrival for bride and groom, toastmaster, complementary overnight accommodation for the bride and groom, discounted room rates for members of the wedding party, table linen, complementary overnight stay for the bride and groom on your first anniversary. We can also co-ordinate other services such as photography, flowers, cake, wedding cars, entertainment etc.
The Hampshire and Wiltshire lounges are perfect for more intimate gatherings of up to 20 people, whereas the Sussex lounge is well suited to larger receptions of up to 35 people.
For parties over 100, the Orchid restaurant and Dorset lounge offer comfort and style, and the Dorset lounge alone can hold 60 guests.
Bowling
At The Hinton Firs Hotel, we have a tradition of welcoming many bowling groups. There are many venues in Bournemouth and the surrounding areas. We can arrange wood and slip hire at more than 20 greens, including indoor venues.
Golf
The Bournemouth area is surrounded by many high quality golf courses of varying degrees of difficulty, making Hinton Firs Hotel the ideal venue for the golf enthusiast. We are experienced in all arrangements of the tour, from providing early morning breakfast to arranging preferential rates with golf clubs.
