• Private Lounges

  Hinton Firs is home to three elegant lounges overlooking the swimming pool and garden. The Dorset and Hampshire lounges are bright and airy, and ideal entertainment venues. The peaceful Somerset lounge is the best place to catch up on correspondence or select something stimulating from the book library.

• Kids' Club

  The ‘Hinton Hobbits’ kids’ club is the perfect diversion for our younger guests during school holidays. Supervised activities include disco dancing competitions, film viewings, table-tennis tournaments, games and much more.

• TV Room

  Our comfortable TV lounge can be used for both organized film viewings and for guests’ enjoyment at all other times. An extensive film library is available from Reception, and a wide variety of Sky channels (including Sky Sports) are also available.

• Private gardens

  Hinton Firs’ beautiful landscaped garden is the perfect place to take a stroll, or enjoy afternoon tea with friends. If you prefer to take it easy, this peaceful haven allows you to soak up the sun, or laze in the shade of the tall pine trees that give the hotel its name.

• Bridge Events

  We organise Bridge holidays and are delighted to welcome bridge tours to the hotel, of all abilities. We host an event, each year for over 100 players for the cancer charity Tenovus.
